Research Interests

His interests include expansive and collapsible soils evaluation, soil improvement methods, unsaturated soil modeling, energy piles, flexible retaining wall system, anti-slide piles, optimazation of desing of group pile foundation, sustainability in geotechnical engineering design, landslide/debris flow investigation, large strain consolidation analyses, construction and design defect investigations, construction remediation and mitigation, cover design for wastes, design of tailings impoundment, heap leach pad, and waste rock disposal sites.
